Bigg Shott pt.2.....
Yeah Buddy! I went to that press conference, and boy howdy, what a time! I had a question that was deemed "relevant", and I was on TV to boot. It felt so great to be a part of our community. I have been a rebel kid for so much of my life, and now that I'm staring down the barrel of the big 3-0, it's kinda nice to immerse a tad in the world that I would usually cannonball into. Our God has blessed us with a gigantic Earth to embrace and play on, and for some reason He lets us actually make a difference in it. Massively humbling when you think about it. Now today, I get to give a presentation to my fellow broadcasters! It's only about ten minutes long, but it the honor of the opportunity is slightly staggering. I guess it's just one of those days when I sit and think about everything that's going on and not only is it not so bad, life is a big, juicy, steak with sauteed mushrooms and onions.

Bigg Shott
I am about to go to a press conference!!! It is really the highlight of radio in my opinion. The statements, the questioning, the microphone pointing...its a carousel of drama! More later...

The Spartan Morning Blast
Imagine a world... I'm watching heroes with some buddies (in the basement, of course.I'm not allowed to watch "nerd stuff" or "guy stuff" upstairs)and during the first break of the show, one of the characters thanks her dad specifically for a new Nissan Rogue( a vehicle highlighted for it's swerving capabilities)and touts it's glories. At first this fact coupled by the THREE PER BREAK Nissan commercials was a bit frustrating. But I started thinking about how this could work to my advantage. I mean, imagine the Morning Blast with interwoven product placement. Picture L+N steaming our carpets during the show while Plantenga's presses our shirts while we wear them. We do let Saving's Angel come in with his steals and deals, but what about Dan Jensen possibly crafting some rings or necklaces in studio. I guess that those things things would be hard to pass on as normal everyday occurances, but a man can dream...
